Vassilios Constantoudis, co-founder / Product Development Director
He holds a PhD in Physics and has worked at the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology of NCSR Demorkitos. His research focuses on mathematical and computational problems in nanometrology with emphasis on the characterization and modeling of nanostructures found in electronic/photonic devices, smart surfaces, and biomaterial surfaces. He is also interested in process modeling of integrated circuits. His research results have been presented in more than 90 papers published in internationally referred journals receiving over 1200 references (h-index = 19). He recently engaged in the commercial exploitation of some of his research results, namely developing nanometrology software.
George Patsis, co-founder / Product Development/ Scientific Advisor
He holds a PhD in Physics and is currently a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of University of West Attika (UNIWA). He has worked on process and device modeling and characterization and has contributed to the metrology software of Nanometrisis. His scientific work has been published in over 80 papers in international journals and has participated in over 100 international conferences on microelectronics.
Evangelos Gogolides , co-founder / Business Development Director
He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering. Since 2004, he has been Director of Research at the Institute of Nanosciences and Nanotechnology of NCSR Demokritos. His current research includes the development of novel plasma processing technologies for smart nanostructures, nanometrology, self-cleaning surfaces, and biochemical analysis micron and nano-devices. He holds 8 patents, has published over 210 papers in journals (over 3,146 references, h-index=28), and has attracted investments in laboratory equipment through competitive research projects exceeding €600K. The total budget of his research projects was well over €6 million between 1999 and 2011.
George Papavieros, Product Development / Legal Representative/ Managing Director
He holds a PhD in Physics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, an MS in Applied Physics from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), and a Bachelor in Physics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His research experience focused on optical networks, microelectronics, MEMS, material science, and device simulation. He has worked as a researcher developing and simulating a MEMS-based infrared sensor at NJIT. His current work and research are on nanometrology ( Plasma Group of the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology of NCSR Demokritos) and the Research and Development of the metrology software of Nanometrisis. He is also the COO of Nanometrisis P.C and Nanoplasmas P.C
Antonis Stellas, ML Engineer
He holds a PDEng diploma in Data Science as well as a master’s degree in nanotechnology. He has worked with various companies (such as Omron, ASML, TE Connectivity) in the Netherlands performing various data science and data engineering projects. Recently, he has focused on combining data science concepts in nanometrology. He is passionate about working on a start-up ecosystem of data science and nanotechnology.
Alex Kondi, Senior R&D Engineer
He holds a PhD in Physics and works on computational nanometrology, AI for science, and machine learning for the characterization of micro- and nanostructures. His research focuses on SEM-based metrology, image analysis, morphology quantification, and data-driven modeling for semiconductor manufacturing and advanced materials. He has contributed to European, national, and industrial R&D projects, and his visiting research appointments include NATO STO-CMRE in 2023 and PTB in 2026. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences, and he has presented more than 20 talks and posters. He received the European Physical Society Best Poster Award at the XXXV IUPAP Conference on Computational Physics in 2024.
